Official Beer of the Olympics

Olympic athletes go for the gold,
Heineken goes for the green.
You won't find Heineken at the Umpqua Brew Fest in October, but you can't help but find it at the 2012 Summer Olympics, currently being contested in London, England.

Much to the chagrin of English ale partisans, Heineken, a Dutch lager, was $elected as the official beer of the Games of the XXX Olympiad.

No English beers are available at the Olympics, but a pint of Heineken can be purchased for about $11.

Oregon Craft Beer Month

Officially in July, unofficially 24/7 365

Don’t worry, even though Aug. 1 is less than two weeks away, bottles of beer won’t disappear from grocery store coolers and the taps won’t run dry at your favorite public house. July is over in 12 days, but the Oregon Craft Beer Month celebration will continue as a brew-haha appreciation, regardless of the date on the calendar.

A Village + You

Looking for a missing volunteer
Beer tasters wanted, but first, beer severs needed. Somewhere in the hundred valleys of the Umpqua, a village is missing its...volunteer. That would be you.

We need you and dozens of other volunteers to help serve beer and food, and to sell tickets and merchandise at this year's event: "It takes a village to raise a brew."

Go to the volunteer page to sign-up and join the Umpqua Brew Fest Village today.

We raise a toast to those who help us to raise a brew!
