We beer-lovers come from many different backgrounds & have multitudes of varying beliefs. Besides uniting amongst our respect for craft-brews, we all share another fondness: our love of water. Since over 90% of each pint of beer is composed of water, lovers of beer are naturally derived to also be lovers of water. It is important, then, to remember that our water is not infinite & we can run out of it if we do not practice long-term sustainable utilization methods.

So next time you bring your fishing pole & growler down to the precious Umpqua, be sure to toast to our river's longevity & well-being. Do it for the beer.

Umpqua Brewfest V: October 18, 2014

Great news, everyone! Umpqua Brewfest V's poster is polished & ready to view! Check it out below. The 5th annual Umpqua Brewfest will be held on October 18th from 1-8 PM at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Roseburg, OR. We will have craft beers ready for tasting, beer-friendly food, and live music from Hillstomp, Party of 5, Code Blue, & Virgil Robinson. We can hardly wait.
