We beer-lovers come from many different backgrounds & have multitudes of varying beliefs. Besides uniting amongst our respect for craft-brews, we all share another fondness: our love of water. Since over 90% of each pint of beer is composed of water, lovers of beer are naturally derived to also be lovers of water. It is important, then, to remember that our water is not infinite & we can run out of it if we do not practice long-term sustainable utilization methods.
So next time you bring your fishing pole & growler down to the precious Umpqua, be sure to toast to our river's longevity & well-being. Do it for the beer.
